pass through the inlet or outlet openings.

damage the heater.
During AUTO operation the power setting base of the heater is turned on and the
HOWTO OPERATE
is determined by the ambient temperature
and that set by the consumer using the Up
and Down buttons on the heater.

Remove your heater from its carton and
associated protective wrapping, and
unwind the cord to its full length and
remove and protective cardboard or foam
that may have been used to minimise
transportation damage.
When the heater is first switched OFF, at
the conrol pad, the fan setting will remain
on until the Ceramic elements cool down.
This is a normal safety operation.
During COOL operation the heater will
only distribute cool air and the heating
elements are not operational
To prevent a possible fire or heat damage,
allow ample space around the heater (at
1.7m at front and 0.5m at the rear, top
and sides) and do not totally or partially
block the air inlet or outlets in any manner.
Check the openings from time to time for
accumulated dust. Ensure long shag carpet
does not obstruct airflow under the unit.
Note: there is a tip over switch fitted to this heater.
When the heater tips over it will automatically
turn off.
During LO operation the heater will
always operate at 1000 Watts
During HIGH operation the heater
will always operate at 2000Watts
Place the heater on a firm, level surface
in a stable upright position.

Visually inspect the air inlet and outlets
to ensure no foreign material is blocking
these areas.
Note: During COOL, LO and HIGH settings the
temperature display will show the ambient
temperature and cannot be adjusted using the
UP or DOWN buttons.
Your heater is fitted with a safety device
that switches off the heater in the event
of overheating. Should this heater stop
working, turn off the heater and inspect
for blockages or air inlet or outlets.Wait
at least five minutes for the protection
system to reset before attempting to
restart the heater.
Do not touch hot metal surfaces.
Make certain the main power button located
on the front of the base is not depressed and
in the OFF position.
Switch off at the control switch and power
outlet, then unplug and allow heater to
cool down before cleaning or storing.
Press the Oscillating button to active the
oscillation function. The unit will Oscillate
40º to each side. To adjust the Oscillation
direction turn the unit OFF and manually
position the heater to the correct position
by gently twisting the main housing of the
heater.
The heater must always be operated with the
rear air filter in position.
Use this heater only as described in this
instruction manual.Any other use not
recommended by the manufacture may
cause fire electric shock or injury and
voids all warranties.
Plug the power cord in a 230-240 volt power
If the heater fails to operate or the safety
device switches off again, return the heater
to your nearest service centre for
examination or repair.

are plugged into the same circuit with your
heater when you switch the unit on.
The heater has a count down timer
ranging from 8 hours to 1 hour. Press the
Timer button once to increase the hour
setting by one hour increments. After 8
depressions the timer will be off and no
figure will appear on the LCD display.
Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug,
control settings, air inlets and outlets and
main housing for any damage. If found
damaged in any way, immediately cease use
of the heater and return to Kambrook or
an authorised service agent for inspection
or repair.
Control the heater with the selector
settings as follows:
Turn the heater on by pressing the main
control switch on the front of the base.
The red neon light will illuminate when
power is being supplied to the heater.
Press Power on the main control panel
or remote control. The heater will default
to the AUTO setting.
This heater is fitted with an Ioniser.
By turning on the Ioniser, the heater will
generate and emit positive Ions into the
room, which will react with negative
particles in the air. The result is that these
air particles will then fall to the ground
resulting in cleaner air within the room.
Therefore you may find a build up of
particles at the base of the heater after
prolonged usage in the Ionisation setting.
The installation of a residual current
device (safety switch) is recommended to
provide additional safety protection when
using electrical appliances. It is advisable
that a safety switch with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30mA be
installed in the electrical circuit. See your
electrician for professional advice.
To adjust the temperature setting either
increase or decrease the setting by
pressing the Up and Down buttons.
The Setting button will allow the unit to
be set to either AUTO, COOL, LO or
HIGH settings.
All the control features can be operated
using the supplied remote control when
the main power switch located on the

against defects in workmanship and
material, for a period of 12 months from
the date of purchase (3 months
commercial use).
Use only a clean, dry cloth to clean the
external surfaces of the heater only.
If the product includes one or a number
of accessories only the defective accessory
or product will be replaced.
If the heater has collected dust or dirt
inside the unit or around the elements,
have the unit cleaned by a qualified
service agent. Do not operate the
heater in this condition.
In Australia, this KAMBROOK Guarantee
is additional to the conditions and
guarantees which are mandatory as
implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974
and State Territory legislation.
Guarantee and purchase receipt for this
product are to be retained as proof of
purchase and must be presented if making
